The hippo figurine became the subject of my perspective assignment by pure curiosity of what it would look like on film. I enjoyed the different textures and colors that contrasted the white backdrop. I also enjoyed playing with size contortion. It isn't clear until the last photo how big the hippo actually is.

Perspective: Jaimee
This assignment I looked at how perspective changes an image. Each angle of the camera turns the image into something entirely different. New angles emit different feelings and emotional responses to the photograph. Jaimee, a willing friend, posed for my assignment. I also played with lighting through a window and how different angles gave different light on the subject.
Humans of Burlington Vermont
This collection of photos was started by an assignment given to me by my professor. I went downtown in Burlington, Vt. and photographed portraits of people I've never met before. At first I was nervous going up to random people and asking to photograph them, but I met many amazing people with great stories. The photographs I shot during this assignment are some of my all time favorites.
